The real deal! The vintage US made iteration of the Pignose is getting harder and harder to come across, so here's your chance! This one has the correct stamped hinges, large weave grill cloth, and the red/white/blue label. It sounds nice with a good crunch, and definitely replicates the signature tone used by a handful of classic artists!
It is in nice overall shape for its age, with some patina on the hinges/latch/corner protectors, as well as a couple of small imperfections to the tolex. It's had a couple of common modifications to make it a little easier to use in this decade; the power jack has been replaced with a standard 9v center negative barrel jack so it can be used with any pedal power supply. The battery clips have been disconnected, and a clip for a single 9 volt has been installed. Otherwise it looks to be all original.
I will say, this is one of the nicer sound examples that l've had - it crunches just the right amount!
