A very cool modern take on the quintessential Jet shape! This one sounds fantastic in the typical Gretsch way - with jangly broad’tron pickups measuring in the mid 5k area; not far from the original vintage filtertrons. In fact, sitting on the stand next the resident MIJ G6228, it’s quite hard to understand the $2300 difference in price.

It features the hallmark v shaped stop tailpiece with Adjusto-Matic bridge, 12” radius laurel board with 22 medium jumbo frets, bound headstock, and bound mahogany body with nice purfling. As per Gretsch tradition, the body is chamber for both a lighter weight guitar, and an airy, rich tone.

It is in great shape, with the only signs of wear being some strum marks on the pickguard, and a bit of fret wear in the usual areas - however nothing that impacts playability in any way. The finish is in great shape and the color is very attractive on this one! There are some minor clear coat scratches in the headstock likely from changing the strings - but again, nothing you wouldn’t expect from a couple years of gentle play.

It’s received a setup with a fresh set of D’addario 10-46s and is ready to roll!

Includes generic padded gigbag.
