Quintessential Gibson Melody Maker! This one dates to 2007 - the first year for the Satin models, and it has a cool worn in vibe from honest play. Whether you’re intending to use this for raw punk rock or chickin pickin’, it’s bound to deliver with its twangy single coil in the bridge.

This would make an excellent song writing guitar - it sounds good without having to spend time dialing it in. Rolling off the tone yields a nice growl that still has a lot of punch, and truly is quite versatile. The neck and body are mahogany, with a thin satin nitro finish. The scale length is the typical Gibson 24.75", with a 12" radius fretboard. These finishes are known to age well, and wear in an attractive "relic'd" fashion; with a bit of that already showing from its previous 18 years of play.

Cosmetically it shows some dings, scuffs, and marks from use - with some worn through finish in a couple of areas. Some small dings and finish wear is found along the neck profile. Overall the guitar looks nice, and plays very well with a string height of about .060” at the 12th fret and optimal neck relief. It has been setup with a fresh set of D’Addario XL 10-46s, and has received a fret polish. It is stage ready and only needs a new home!
