A modern take on the quintessential offset! The American Performer adds a revised tremolo and awesome sounding pickups to an already-winning formula. Throw in a rare and eye catching finish and you've got a real stunner. The finish is quite similar to Burgundy Mist in certain light, while shifting to a more copper hue in others - with a gorgeous sparkle flake. This color is no longer available from Fender, and it adds a bit of "specialness" in a sea of white and black guitars!
It has a rosewood fretboard with 22 Jumbo frets on a "C" profile neck, 24" scale length, ClassicGear tuners, a sweet
4-ply pearl guard, and Vintage-Modern bridge. Pickups are the Mustang Yosemite set, which are sparkly with nice warmth found in the neck position. Like others in the Performer series, this guitar is wired with the "Greasebucket" circuit - which maintains volume through tone roll-off.
This particular example is in nice shape, with no dings, scuffs, or ugliness to the finish. The only real sign of use is some indentations on the profile of the neck as seen in the photo. The electronics, trussrod, etc all function as they should.
It has recently been setup and restrung with coated DR Dragon Skin+ 10-46s. It feels great to play, and is a ton of fun!
Will include an aftermarket gig bag. I do not have the tremolo arm for it, but it is a push-in style with a set screw and is compatible with many others.
