Here‘s a rare opportunity to own a truly fantastic guitar! If you are like me and appreciate high end Japanese guitars, this one is for you. This guitar will play and sound much like the Gibson at half the cost - and given its rarity is bound to appreciate in value. It is all original, with the USA made Epiphone 50/60R pickup set. It is an incredibly classy guitar all the way around!

It features nice yellowed binding, real abalone inlays, hand rubbed finish, and high end appointments throughout. The tuners are factory Grover Rotomatics. The fretboard is a nice dark rosewood - one small feature unique to the Epiphone - and in my opinion harkens back to the fretboard found on the OG MIJ Grecos. The pickups sound quite nice, with a smooth neck and bridge that provides plenty of bite for higher gain applications. The tune-o-matic bridge is the proper type with threaded posts set directly into the body for maximum vibrational transfer. These also feature the correct Gibson headstock angle for proper string break angle at the nut.

This example is in very good cosmetic condition, showing only a couple of small dings from use, as well as a bit of finish swirling (hard to avoid with these piano-like ebony finishes). There is a bit of finish checking around the neck heel - however this is only cosmetic and is a typical area for this to occur, and does not impact structural integrity of the guitar in any way. The frets are in good shape and show very little wear, with plenty of life left.

It has been polished and setup with D’Addario XL 10-46s with a speedy string height of about .055 at the 12th fret high E.

Includes the sought-after original Elitist purple lined case, along with its keys.
