Your chance to own a rare and sought after Charvel! The Model 6 saw production from mid ‘86-‘89 - and was the flagship of Charvel’s lineup with neck thru construction, active electronics, and of course the sweet shark fin inlays. Of course if you’re here, you probably already know this - getting straight to the important part, this one is an absolute beast of a unit. Killer classic 80’s tones with the neck pickup, a responsive tremolo, and a neck profile that is pure perfection. This example has survived the 80s and 90s very well, and is a real beauty to hold in your hands.

Everything on this bad machine is up to snuff - electronics doing what they should, with individual toggle switches for each pickup, along with a master volume, tone, and cut control. The frets show a bit of wear in the common areas, but nothing that prevents the guitar from playing like a dream - with super low string height of about .040” at the 12th without fretting out on bends.

Cosmetically it shows very well, with only a couple of small dings that don’t go through the finish, and some finish swirling as might be expected on a jet black guitar (the swirling doesn’t show in most lighting, and was hard to capture in the photos). There is a small area of blemished finish at the very tip of the headstock, but alas is something of a right of passage for pointy guitars. Overall, the guitar is pretty impressive for an almost 40 year old shredder - and truly feels special to play.

It has been setup with a fresh set of D’Addario 9-42s and is stage ready!

Includes the original silver Charvel hard shell case, as well as the tremolo arm.
