Here’s a neat one! This little Supro dates to 1958 and is a somewhat hard to find model; with its super cool covered pickup and pickguard-mounted electronics. This one actually plays impressively well, it’s been gone through and professionally setup, and really is a ton of fun!
It is mostly original with the exception of a few small things - the tuner buttons have been replaced (just the plastic buttons), the tuners themselves are the original single like Klusons which function well. The second neck bolt has been moved down to increase neck stability, a common issue with old Supros and Danos. The old hole is still present and unfilled, and the original ferrule for it is included. The electronics functions as they should, and it has a sweet, warm tone that is easy to emulate Jack White riffs with. Cosmetically it’s in nice shape for its age, with some miscellaneous dings/marks/imperfections, however overall the guitar has an awesome vibe.
